NCLEX-RN exam results on hold?????

Hey Everyone!!! This is my first time posting. I check this site out a lot and know how wonderful and supportive you all are. I am having a SERIOUS dilemma right now. I took the NCLEX-RN exam on Friday 7/6 at around 2:30 and when I got up to question 20 everyone's computer in the testing center shut down :( They were having technical difficulties...after waiting for what felt like an eternity they finally got the computers back up and running. I had a lot of select-alls, priority, and med questions but went up to 112 questions before my computer shut off after answering a select-all question. I did the PVT but the pop-up says that "the candidate has test results that are on hold and I cannot register again at this time." What does this mean? My state (NY) has the quick results after 48 hours which would be tonight and the pop-up is still the same. I am a nervous-wreck and need advice pleassseeeeee!!!! I appreciate feedback. Thank you ALL so much.

I got my quick results 48 hrs later and I passed! My name is not on the BON yet though. Neither is my friend's who took it 2 days before me. Do you know how long it takes in NY?

Congrats!!! That's great. I'm very happy for you. I don't know how long they take to post it but a friend of mine took it the same you did and called the BON and they said they will post it this week. Keep checking :-)

Everyone please keep me in your thoughts and fingers crossed tomorrow I will get good results. I feel like vomiting from the anxiety.

I spoke to them this morning about 8 times and finally got my incident report but they're still doing an investigation on it. :confused: At this point I can't keep any food down and want to :crying2: from the anxiety.

what are they doing an incident report on? the fact the power went out or is it related to your exam directly? i hope you can get your results soon. that type of anxiety is horrible. i had it for about 6 weeks straight during a semester. lost about 5 lb because i was so stressed and anxious. sending some hugs :hug:

thank you! it's because the all the computers at the testing center went down for a while during the exam. one of the ladies at the testing center told me she was going to release the incident report for everyone so the exams would be accessible but when i called the main number to pearsonvue the rep told me that they're still conducting an investigation and i should get the results by wednesday. then i called back and another person told me tomorrow but she can't release any more information about the investigation :confused:

hang in there. you'll get your results before long. or maybe you'll get the good popup even if the results aren't ready. i got my official results in the mail on thursday-exactly 7 days after my nclex which was the friday before. hopefully those aren't held up as well. only positive thoughts, k?

I woke up this morning and prayed to keep calm from the madness I've experienced and opened my computer and logged in to PearsonVue and my quick results were ready! I paid the $7.95 and my mom checked because I was too scared and I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fell to my knees and started crying. Thank you all for being supportive!!! I'm officially a LICENSED REGISTERED NURSE!!! :bow: :nurse: :rotfl::w00t:
