Nursing Students NCLEX

I'm scoring in the mid to high 60's...is that okay? or is this low? I'm not sure how this book works.

Shandra2008 - online, most have about 25-30/chapter. A couple have 20 or 21, and peds has 41. (Not trying to butt in -- I just happen to be taking a study break, and I have my list of chapters with no. of questions and my score on each sitting right in front of me.)

Thank you! It's about the same as the book. I'll just do them out of the book!!! I take my test on the 17th. I'm trying not to spend anymore money! Lol! ;)

FYI I bought the 3rd ed. book with code for $40 at Barnes & Noble on Friday. When I went to the evolve/elsevier site to activate the code, it looked like there was an option to purchase just the online access for $19 and change. I should have done that, because I've barely touched the book.

PedsHopeful - thanks for the info! I had about the same range of percents as you (but my weakest chapter was visual and auditory problems; got a 52 -- ouch!), with most in the 70s and 80s. I take NCLEX tomorrow, and your post has made it a tiny bit easier to breathe tonight! :shy:

good luck!! I'm taking mine next week, pretty nervous. Been mostly using kaplan, but now using this as well.

Thanks!!! Good luck to you as well!

Your scores should be fine, however it should not be your focus. The main point here is that you must analyze the questions and answers and then study the rationales.I think that is the best thing that could help you in tackling those difficult questions.all the best!
