Hi! How do you find the TOEFL exam?i have taken the IELTS exam before and was able to pass it but im not very sure and confident of myself with TOEFL. I have heard that the exam is more difficult compared to ielts.is it true?how would you compare its level of difficulty with IELTS?im planning to take the exam as well.thanks for your inputs!

Hi Kabayan!! To answer your queries directly: 1. Apply for Licensure in the state where you intend to work and plant your roots. Do you have long term plans of working in the US?take this things into consideration. 2. Yes. Most states requires you to have SSN before they will allow you to sit for the exam. 3.Try New York 4.Visit the BON's website where you intend to apply for Licensure for specific requirements and instructions. I got that "results on hold" pop up as well when i sat for nclex last june 10. I know it's because my name is too long and they did an incident report for that. After 24 hours it changed to the good pop up..i sincerely believe that you passed hadassah, you have been very encouraging to a lot of people here in this forum and i think its our time to show you our support as you have done to a lot of us here. Hi leemohan7..yes i have a valid VS thru CGFNS exam and a notarized job offer letter from my petitioner. .everything is complete except me passing the NCLEX exam. It was asked to me by the CO. And in my job offer letter it was indicated that the position is for a registered nurse. Since I cant apply for licensure in California because I dont have SSN yet i applied in Colorado. They waived the SSN requirement. I am hoping and praying that everything will be fine..

Hi leemohan7..actually I havent endorsed my license yet. I was merely searching websites and forums to a case that might be similar as mine. I was interviewed last april 22, 2014 under EB3 category by the US embassy in Manila and just like you, my petitioner is in california, However I wasnt granted the visa at the time because they asked for proof of NCLEX passing. I havent taken the NCLEX RN exam yet at that time. And since I am quite aware that CABON requires SSN to apply for licensure by exam, I opt to apply in the state of Colorado to which thank God I passed the exam last June 10, 2014. As you said, your licensed in New Mexico, Did you present your NCLEX pass letter during the consular interview? Were you asked anything about how you will endorse your New mexico license to california? Did you encounter any problems during the consular interview and were you granted the visa right away? I have yet to submit my NCLEX pass letter to the US embassy. How are you now? did you talk to your employer or anything? Thankyou and so sorry I asked too many questions. Your scores should be fine,however it should not be your focus.The main point here is that you must analyze the questions and answers and then study the rationales.I think that is the best thing that could help you in tackling those difficult questions.all the best!

Sorry..reading your story,i think what happened was that you were expecting to finish at 75 and yet when it didnt happened you panicked and lost control..maybe for now try to calm yourself for a while,think things over.and when you feel ready then get back to it. All the best to you..
