  2. Hi! I live in Tacoma-Puyallup area and I really want to work as a school nurse. This is the area of nursing i'm really considering right now. What are the steps I should take to be one? I don't have any experience in that area. I am an RN with BSN degree. I am currently working in a Rehab Unit of a Nursing Home for about 2 months now, it's my very first job after nursing school. Can someone please help me? What are the requirements? Steps that I should take? I am just so desperate to become a school nurse. Please help me. Thanks!
  3. Hi! I'm a new RN living in Puyallup, Washington near Tacoma. I passed the board exam on Dec 2013 and haven't had any luck with the job search. Every postings need at least a year of experience. Any tips on how to land a job/interview in this area? Do I need to look for an RN Residency program? job on an LTC? I'm just really frustrated being unemployed and doesn't know what to do. I really need an advice. Thank you!
  4. I JUST PASSED MY NCLEX WITH 75 QUESTIONS! a great way to end my 2013 and start 2014! happy new year to all :)
  5. i had asked the DOH of WA before i took the TOEFL if i need it (that was around June2013). I also explained to them that all our nursing books were in English & English was our language of instructions. They said all foreign grads whose English is not their primary language should take the TOEFL. I suggest you directly ask them.
  6. Hi! Sorry for the very late reply. How was your TOEFL? :) I fiinally got my ATT! i didn't have any problem with the concurrency issue in WA and i'm not sure if they're really implementing it. I just submitted all my requirements and after months of waiting, i got my ATT.
  7. wow! congrats! My school have submitted my transcripts to them. I'm waiting for my CES now. I hope everything will go well. Notefull.com they also have videos on youtube. Just search for notefull. Btw, where did you graduate?
  8. Hi Nurses and Future Nurses! I just want to share my experience with the TOEFL exam I took this 7/13/2013. I am a Filipino who just migrated to the US after my graduation in April 2013. I am applying for a nursing license in WA and TOEFL is one of their requirements. The State requires a minimum score of 83 and 26 speaking. After learning about this, I got devastated. I am a person who would rather choose Math over speaking in front of the class. But hey, I got a score of 27 for speaking and a total score of 107 in my TOEFL exam. What I did was follow the tips from Notefull and also watched their videos on youtube. These really helped me a lot! I memorized their formats and used these on my actual exam. I also answered the free reviewers from TOEFL. then practice practice practice practice .. I even asked my self some random questions then answer. Basically, talking to myself and recording (speaking is my weakest point). Hard work pays off. So for those who are worried about the TOEFL, try to check Notefull. Please share your TOEFL experience here .. or if you need any help, I'll try Good luck, Nurses and Future Nurse!
