So I am studying for boards and have done thousands of questions so far! I recently completed trainers 5, 6, and 7 and the readiness test and would really love some insight on my scores before I schedule a date to sit for my exam!!

Trainer 5: 63%

Trainer 6: 68%

Trainer 7: 62%

Readiness Test: 66%

I'd really appreciate it! Thank you :)

You are good to go. Your scores are better than mine and I passed at 75 questions.

Oh wow! That's really good to hear !! Thank you so much ?

i think you have it. my scores were only at best 45% and i passed.

Wow really? I wonder why kaplan puts such an emphasis on getting these scores then .. Do you have any tips on how you passed?

girl i sure do. they place emphasis on having at least a 57-62% because if your at that score it meas your above 53% in all sub categories. giving you at least a 5-10% margin of error for test day flutters. what i did was i knew my weak ares going in. for me i still remember basic care and comfort always was around 16-25%. so i really sucked at that. physiological adaptation and safety/infection control were also low. but i knew if i could learn the material for them those questions can be more straight forward at times on test day. not all crazy like kaplan. so i really beefed up my study time with them. psych and management of care were also low so i used the MP# kaplan for those (from a torrent site). you can listen to them of the way to work and drill this in. also worked well for safety and infection control. next i was always doing questions and ratinals. really understanding them and looking up in the book what the kaplan book said the answer was and why (like how you would do in grade school). Lacharity really helped get me good whith the prioritize and delegation questions though. so many questions in less than 300 pages...yikes! i think its what kept me above the application level line.and finally the best tip and the hardest part was i took off two weeks from work. i studied on and off from 7;30am-7;30pm. taking breaks every half an hour or prn. it was tough...i had to highlight in 10 different colors to keep my interest and me focus. even played some classical music. but over 2 weeks time i was able to fine tweak the strategics of remar, kaplan and Lacharity to my own ADHD personal needs. it was like a mini boot camp or job. two weeks only doing it you really start to think in test format. its crazy but it works. just make sure to re orient yourself every half an hour like your a Alzheimer patient
