Is PVT still working?

Hi everyone,

I just took my NCLEX-RN today. I just wanted to ask if Pearson Vue Trick still works? I reached the maximum number of questions 265. It was really hard. I felt drained after the test. It took me 2 1/2 hours to finish the entire exam. As soon as I got out of the testing center I tried to re-register and I got the good pop-up. To be honest I'm not expecting to passed coz I didn't study that much and plus most of the questions are really really hard for me. I'm really anxious coz a friend of mine told me that when you reached max questions that means the BON is the one who will determine if you pass or not. So I'm really worried coz I'm not sure if PVT is still working and if BON really makes the decision when you reached the max number.

I did PVT few years ago when I took my NCLEX-VN and it worked! But i'm so worried if its still the same

Yes, it still works.

No, the BON does not decide if you pass or fail when you reach 265 questions. That determination is made my the NCLEX Computer Adaptive Testing, just like it is when you finish in 75, 120, or any number of questions.

As long as it said "Delivery Successful" in the status of your results when you tried to re-register, the PVT is accurate.

It still works :yeah:

I'd wait to start poppin' champagne bottles until you get the unofficial results in a few days, but you can definitely relax a little!

I took the NCLEX-RN recently and the PVT surely wiped away LOTS and LOTS of anxiety for me. And even though I got the good pop-up...of course I thought I was going to be the 1 out of 1,000,000th person that the PVT didn't work on. I must have done that PVT like 20+ times. But, in the end, I got my unofficial results and passed and my name was on BON shortly after. Just Relax. It seems like you passed!
