I want to vomit - 85 ?'s on NCLEX-PN

I just took my NCLEX-PN on Tuesday. I have the constant feeling that I need to vomit. I had several SATA and several "you are teaching a patient about XX, what would you include." Had three questions on phenochromocytoma, which I had NO idea.......then the computer shut off at 85! EVERYONE that I've talked to says that is a good thing. The valedictorian of my class had 85....but I still feel like I failed big time. Are these people realistic, or just trying to be nice? Is there truth to the "85 Questions is Good" thing?

Please help! :crying2:

hi same feeling we experiencing now..just took the test today and have to wait a several weeks since i live here in cali, thats really drive me crazy thinking if i did well or not:uhoh3::sniff: . but like you its stop on 85 , and i have a lot of SATA, 2 math, infection control and priorities. gudluck to both of us and to all who took the test ... tell me if u pass for sure u'll get your result early than me.. gudluck to us may god bless us

Just a question... on the NCLEX-RN, when delegating to LPNs and UAs, we are not to give LPNs anything that requires teaching... so WHY would you have to even know what to teach? What's up with that? Are they testing you on way more crap than they need to?

(I realize that in real life, LPNs probably DO teach, I just don't understand why the NCLEX people seem to have two different philosophies about the same job description, depending on which test they are writing: Borderline Personalities???)

So how did it go?? Im done with my program next month and am so nervous!! Do you have any pointers for me? I am also looking for a good review, know of any? Thanks!
