first time for NCLEX

I'm very nervous for Thursday as I will take this brutal exam in the morning. I been studying everyday doing at least 100 questions and reading the rationale for each one. As time consuming, I keep my head forward and staying positive. For those who have taken and passed and those who had to retake, what words of encouragement can you share with me???

I wanted to postpone last week, but I feel like I am only running away from this test. I took the Kaplan course in person last month and made sure to utilize what I learned. The areas where I'm still struggling are the safe and effective environment, health promotion and physiological integrity. I been trying to do questions for all areas on qbank and reviewing those rationales. I redo the questions i missed timed.

Am I ready for this exam is what I keep asking myself. :nailbiting:

You will be fine!! No one is ever ready for the NCLEX, no matter how much you study! I felt the same way... Especially as the day comes closer you doubt your ready-ness even more lol. Trust your guy instinct. Breathe and re focus. Take a mini time out if you become overwhelmed while testing. Take a break and have a snack. Don't dwell on a problem once you have moved one. And never change your answer! The day before no studying! Rest and relax and do anything but study!! GOODLUCK future nurse! All those tests and stress in school has prepared you for this moment!! I made it thru alive lol and so will you! Toon the boards on July 30th and received my license yesterday :D

what were your q.trainer scores?

I am taking it Friday and also feel like I am unprepared (even though I studied everyday for 5 weeks now) I have averaged ~65% in my QTrainer scores but as the test date approaches I am getting more worried. I know if I postpone I will be more of a nervous wreck and realize that what I know is what I know. Hope the best to you and I this week :)
