  1. @mhill I agree. I took it friday 10/10 and no results yet. Is it our evaluator who receives the results and inputs our license?
  2. I took my exam yesterday (Friday) and was wondering if our evaluator is the one who posts our license on the BON website. Or if anyone who took it on a Friday found out Sunday that they passed. I'm im CA which doesn't participate in quick results. Thanks!
  3. I felt like the NCLEX was easier than I anticipated it to be but I can't say im 100% sure on any of the answers I chose since it's not straight content questions where you know what you chose is correct. I used Saunders (read all the chapters except pharm)/Kaplan (did Qbank and QTrainers)/La Charity PDA (finished all the questions) and it is hard to say which helped the most. I had no EKG, a lot of SATA and priority q's, about 10 meds, 1 drag and drop, 1 exhibit, and a range of topics from adult to peds to ob to mental health. My last 5 questions were SATA so I'm staying hopeful.. The SATA was easier than Kaplan to me though.
  4. Just finished my exam. 75q in 1.5 hours. Hoping for the best :)
  5. I'm taking it tomorrow but from a friend who took it earlier this week (and previous poster on another thread) they said to do the PVT couple hours after the exam, and again at 24h. If you get the good pop up twice there is a very good chance you passed. It's not guarantee, but the odds are in your favor. They also told me it's normal to feel like you left failing, and I know I will feel that way tomorrow. I'm just going to give it my all cause what I know is what I know at this point! :) Best of luck to you!
  6. Congrats GodmademeRN! I am freaking out right now thinking that it's my turn to go through waiting for results tomorrow. I hope I am as successful as you! Congrats again!!!!
  7. GodmademeRN; friend took NCLEX 10/7/14 did the PVT (entered CC info, good pop up) couple hours after exam and yesterday; found out passed this morning with name on BON. I feel like the people who have done the PVT and got the good pop up and failed did it too soon after the exam. Try it again if you get the good pop up today, most likely will be great news :)
  8. Hoping the best for you! :) I'm taking mine tomorrow, hope both of us get good news and reach our dream of becoming an official RN!
  9. Thanks for the advice! I just took QT7 and got 57.4% so I am kinda worried. There were so many SATA on this QT I was going a bit crazy
  10. If its been 24 hours since your exam and you're getting the good pop up theres a good chance you passed! I just took QT7 and got 57.4% and am a little worried now.. I shouldn't pay attention the score but getting the lowest QT score 2 days before the NCLEX = major anxiety!
  11. Congrats chelshnurse! Hope the best for you kawaiibows :) I am taking it Friday and woke up feeling anxious. What did you do the last 2 days before your exam?
  12. Thanks I will do QT7 tomorrow. What would you recommend using to practice SATA? Congrats btw!!
  13. Congrats to you! I am nearing my exam Friday after studying 5 weeks. I have QT7 left which I will do tomorrow. My QT scores are QT1: 60% QT2: 70% QT3: 63% QT4: 65.3% QT5: 66.7% QT6: 65.5% QT7: doing tomorrow I also completed LaCharity PDA and read Saunders (without pharm) did you find the NCLEX harder than kaplan? And what would you suggest I review/focus on in my last couple days? Thank you!
  14. Take some time to relax for now :) You can also try the pearson vue trick. Thanks, I'm practicing SATA on Saunders right now. Hoping the best for you!
  15. Even if you don't get a lot of SATA you can still pass because you don't really know what is considered a higher level question or not. How did you prepare for the NCLEX? Was it harder or easier than you expected and do you have any tips? I'm taking it Friday and not sure what else to do before then :/
