Are you US educated? If not did you try any of the resources targeted to IENs? Unfortunately the first time pass rate for an IEN is around 30% whereas the first time pass rate for a US educated nurse is ~85% since the NCLEX tests to US standards of education.

Once you get your candidate performance report you will get the details of which domains you were near or below passing standards and which areas you were at or above passing standard so you can create a targeted review plan.

While I'm sorry to hear the news, I must say that when the computer shut off at 75, it means only that on that day, at that time, you weren't quite ready. Wait for your CPR to come in the mail before you start studying again for the exam. You'll need that report so you can develop a study plan.

Somehow, I managed to pass at 75. I'm not saying that I'm that good... I'm saying that on that day, for that exam, I was ready enough to pass. You probably already know the material you need to pass. Remember, you have 6 hours. Next time, slow down, breathe, read the question, answer it in your head and then read the answers. If something is close, then you may be on the right track. Then re-read the question and make sure you LOOK for key words and phrases. Then look at those answers and choose the answer that fits the actual question that is being asked. Forget about the previous question and don't think about the next one. Only the one in front of you matters.

((((RoyalBlue)))) I am so sorry. If I fail mine I will feel exactly the same way as you do. The one decent thing is the report that you will get as mentioned above.

Hugs your way! I can only imagine how you feel. You CAN and WILL do this. Like mentioned wait for your CPR look at it, make some tweaks and retest. Like akulahawkrn said look at each word to figure out exactly what is being asked. Take your time!

BTW your hubby sounds very sweet and I am guessing he will be supportive!

GOOD LUCK!

Then take the candidate performance report once received and use that to develop a targeted study plan. Rest your brain for now. Try and enjoy summer. One step at a time
