there are people who really can't make it in the first, second and how many tries. and i am one of them, i failed twice too but i tried to read some more and understand these stuff. let us get back on our feet for we have finished nursing and this is the only thing that we need to pass this time. we will pray more for god is always good. He will give to us what we need in HIs Time.

thanks ann_08:)

thanks ann_08:)

you are welcome:).. take a break for a week. then go back and find a routine to study..what materials do you have?

i have saunders for the content 4th edition,la charity, exam cram practice questions and kaplan strategies, practice and review 2010-2011 edition..how about you what's ur review materials for nclex?

I failed twice as well. "First time passer" is getting uncommon now days. What I did was changed my routine in studying. The first two exam I had? I was reading up until midnight or more. On my last try, I only read and answer only if I had the energy. I mean, if I don't feel like studying... I am not going to. But if I do study, I making sure I am understanding the what's, the why's and the how's of the concept I am reading. Answering practice questions helped me a lot. 25 - 150 questions a day plus understanding each rationale. I used saunders and kaplan on my first / second try. And on my third, with the help of allnurses passers, I purchased Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment by Lacharity, Exam Cram practice questions and for my concept book comprehensive NCLEX RN review book by Hogan. Anyways, GOODLUCK and Relax for now and you'll get back on track in no time! Always pray before and after you study.

@ mosaicism thanks a lot for sharing your story...

Just realize that the NCLEX is not easy. It gets some of the best students and those who are very well-prepared. The key is persistence. As long as you don't give up, you will pass.

I just took NCLEX for the second time and failed. I think I cried for hours. I don't think I've ever studied so hard for anything in my life. I feel like a complete failure. There are so many people I went to school with that took the test and bragged about how easy it was for them. This last time I came out of there feeling like I didn't know anything. It took 265 questions and 5 hours to complete. I'm looking for some study tips as well. I had so many pharm questions. Is there a trick to try to remember all of them for the test?
