Everyone else is getting their results, Not me!!!!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Everyone around me is getting their results and they took their tests after me. I still haven't gotten mine. Has anyone been through this and still passed? :uhoh3:

Hey y'all, I tried the pearsonvue thing trying to re register under credit card method of payment. It let me put in the name, address, e-mail preliminary information and went on to next prompts. Then a page appears that asks me to "reset my password" and that's where I stop and bail. What did that mean I wonder? I've tried it twice and same deal. I don't know at what point y'all are saying it appears you may have passed based on such and such. What exactly am I looking for if it lets me register only to the point of me being asked to get a new password?

newtress, this is what i found for you that will explain the pearson "trick" or "treat" some call it. i copied this from llsesq88 post:

"so here is what i learn from reading everyone's experience:

1) do this "treat" properly. go to www.pearsonvue.com/nclex so there is no confusion and all of us on the same bandwagon. click on my account on the right hand side of the screen. log-in with your userid and password that you used when you initially register for the test on-line. if you did it by phone or scantron....im not really sure what to do. sorry.

2) most important thing when doing this "treat" is that the status of your exam appointment must say "delivered successfully" doesn't matter if its 1, 2 or 10 hrs after you took the test....it has to say delivered successfully. otherwise this "treat" won't work for you until it does. this is the most crucial step of all.

3) when it say delivered successfully, go to the upper left hand side and click on register. choose either the rn or the pn test. then hit next. select your country. answer the 3 yes/no questions and it really doesn't matter what you put here...believe me i tried all different combo. select which school you graduated from, select the graduation date, and the state you are taking your boards for. then the moment of truth....if you get a pop-up that says "another exam is schedule, you can't register, contact your board member".....breathe and relax...you passed!!! seriously....you passed!!! unless they changed their system....you passed!!! pop the bubbly.

4) if you get to a credit card payment screen....from what i have gathered.....that means you didn't pass....i am truly sorry....but don't give up. look at it this way....you have a heads up to starting studying and preparing for next time. don't loose faith....we need help out there in the workforce.

5) theory behind this "treat" is simple....pearson knows if you pass or failed as soon as you are done taking the exam....so once the results are delivered....their system knows if you can register again or not. if you pass, their system will block you from double booking them....but if you failed....they are more then happy to charge you again.

6) please stop calling pearson about this "treat" and wondering if it works or not. it really does!!! think about the theory in #5. we don't want them to change their system. don't ruin it for future rn grad....cuz it is the only anxiety relief future nurses will get about their test result. just spread the word to your friends.

7) doesn't matter how many question you took, what test you took, or what state you took it in, or even country...as long as its a pearson nclex....this "treat" works!!!

8) i feel really bad for nurses in california....you guys have really long wait time for your results....hang in there and have some relief if you get the most wonderful pop-up to ever grace your computer screen!!!:nuke::nuke::nuke:"

Hey NewRNgrad'09, You are the big gem. You so far are the only person who layed all those steps out nicely. I went back and re-did this again. I was "re-registering for the NCLEx-PN" and finally answered the 3 questions and those grad/school ones and sellected the type of NCLEX. A pop up, yes a pop up layed across my screen. It said Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance, another registration can not be made at this time. This is worded a bit different than yours (perhaps being the RN instead of the PN) but do you think it is basically stating the same thing? Could it be.. maybe could it be? I took the exam last Wed 6/17 five days ago. Man I hope it isn't a generic glitch, like just because you had actually done the rigamarole to register the computer just defaults automatically for everyone that they can't re-register but you may have failed anyway. You really helped me relax a bit here this evening! Thank you so much for explaining how to navigate through that. Now I can only hawk the mail truck and wait. :coollook:

you're welcome, newtress; but as i said, i copied the post from another member. the message that i receive, for rn, is exactly the same as yours. so hopefully it is true & we both passed!!! :bowingpur it'll be 48 hours for me in 3 hours. i'll let you know regardless... my heart goes out to anyone who isn't able to use the quick results option. it would be awful waiting weeks... if it makes you feel any better, my husband took the engineering exam & his results take 3 months! i'd be a basket case! lol
