I've read on threads thats mentioned the LaCharity book. I was thinking of purchasing it, but I don't want too many studying materials that might end up being overwhelming. Was it really helpful on the nclex? What are your insights...

i took the nclex two weeks ago. if there was ever a book i regret not buying, its lacharity. i had plenty of these questions. after i took the nclex, i figured if i failed, then i was heading straight to the bookstore to purchase lacharity. good luck to you.:)

I bought this book because it was so hyped up on here. Yes, the prioritization questions were nice but you can find those questions on any NCLEX review book. If I could have done it again, I would not have bought it. I'm a no frills person, I only used Saunders Comprehensive and Q&A Review. Passed NCLEX with 75 questions.

I'd recommend it. I took the NCLEX and passed last month. Lacharity has a lot of those delegation questions that you don't see much in other review books. The delegation questions are somewhat repetitive in different chapters, I think this is a strategy Lacharity is doing to put in our heads that "this task is for the NA's/ the LPN's/ the RN's only". That's what I like most about the PDA book. Good luck and keep positive :)

It's very helpful. It was helped me a lot with my delegation and priority questions.

I didn't buy it, but did rent it from B&N for 30 days (9.95). yeah, it hammered home the delegation process!
