I think it also depends on where a CNA has worked. In a LTC facility they may have an leg up with basic ADL care. If they are from a hospital and has yrs experience working in an IMC, ER, or Med-Surg unit they will have a leg up on way more than ADL ...
CNAs get paid minimum wage in some states. Take that into account when reading all of the Task that they do. When the issue of patient to staff ratio comes up they are most likely referring to RNs. I don't believe there is a cap for CNAs.
