  1. I know people who let their license expire and went back just for refresher and retake NCLEX.. but I haven't known any that graduated and didn't take the NCLEX shortly after graduating.
  2. May I ask why you waited 3 years after graduating nursing school to take the test? I suspect you've lost a lot of what you were taught. Look into nurse refresher courses offered in other states, maybe that will be your ticket for not having to redo ...

    You recognize he's done despicable things yet you will vote for him. Shows your own 'values' are pretty despicable. The bar for the highest office in the world has been buried six feet under.

    I really think your experience working in psych hospitals and education makes you a great candidate for MHNP.

    Look up schools in your area and find out what rereqs and grades they require to be admitted into nursing school. It's a process, you have to start at the beginning.

    Advice needed regarding diabetic student

    Is this T1D or T2D? Ideally, any teacher that has contact with student should know if the student is being treated for diabetes and know what to look for (highs/lows).

    I think nursing school and MHNP program will give her the experience in pharmacology. If you find a NP school that will take your without RN bedside experience, that go for it.

    LPN supervising RNs

    My first nursing job I had an LVN as the floor supervisor and she was amazing. I learned more from her in a few months than all of nursing school.

    Sending resident to ER without a providers order.

    It was an emergency, I've never heard of needing a doctor's order to send to the ER.
  14. This was 12 years ago so they may not do this anymore, but during orientation they brought in a service and drug tested all the students who hadn't done theirs yet.
