Hi, She's an NP (me too). I still haven't heard anything. Her's now says "Award accepted." But her's was NHSC - I forgot there was a difference in that and Nurse Corps so maybe there's still hope!

Is it supposed to make a difference if you apply early or right up to the deadline? I assumed it didn't, but does anyone know if you have a better shot the earlier you apply?
@ella86RN I think for NHSC you have to be primary care, whereas in Nurse Corps you don't have to be (I'm not). Also, the way they disperse the $ is different - one is all up front, the other is monthly (I think!).
