Dear Tide: I'm writing to say what an excellent product you have! I've used it since the beginning of my married life, when my Mom told me it was the best. Now that I am older and going through menopause, I find it even better! In fact, about a mon...
Wow Jules, you're gonna be busy, lol. We toyed around with having babe #3 before I started classes, as now I'm looking at a summer '07 EDD at the earliest. I'll be working too while in school, but I work from home and can do it late evenings while t...
Doulas can cost anywhere from free up to about $800 for major centers. I do at least 5-8 volunteer births a year for low income families and only charge $250 per birth and even then I barter and allow my clients to pay when they can.
Ack! Sickness is one of my nightmares! If they get sick on Thurs/Fri it's okay because I'm not in classes, lol, and my hubby works nights, so I guess if it comes down to it, he'll miss out on a days worth of sleep. I have some family who I could prob...

Babies here are bathed at least 2-3hrs after birth, if not more. They stay in L&D until about 1.5hrs PP and then moved to the PP floor. There the nurse does a check over and then lets the PT know that the baby can be bathed whenever the PT wants...
Wow. I could have written that post myself! My son was born at 40wks exactly, and weighed in at 5lbs 8oz. Induced due to high bp, he demonstrated distress as well. He was in the ICU, partly to help keep him warm - and he's 18mos right now, and seeing...
