i am an (E grade) bang 6 and my role at the trust i work is vastly different from the d grades, although on occassions the senior D grades have to step up in the absence of an E grade, but this is stated within their contract.

this always makes me laugh, i dont think there is any direct evidence to suggest mobile phones cause interference with hosital equiptment, but we are constantly told to tell patients and families to turn them off, i don't think it has been challenged...
