I ALWAYS PASSED MY MATH CLASSES IN HIGH SCHOOL BUT USUALLY WITH A C OR D AVERAGE. ANYONE ELSE EVER BEEN IN THIS SITSUATION?? ANY ADVICE?? I DONT WANT THIS TO STOP ME FROM PURSUING MY DREAM!
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED! THANKS!
HI I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW IF OR HOW LONG THE WAITING LIST IS AT (KCMA) KETTERING COLLEGE OF MEDIACL ARTS. IM THINKING ABOUT APPLING FOR THE NURSING PROGRAM,BUT I HOPE ITS NOT AS LONG AS SINCLAIRS. AND ALSO DO THEY OFFER AN LPN PROGRAM?? OR DO YOU HAVE TO GO TO A TECHNICAL COLLEGE FOR LPN CERTIFICATION?
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!
Im 21 planning on going to school for nursing. Im one semester away from applying to Tri-C Western's nursing program. Im at a job now that pays well but has nothing to do with medical at all and i cant stand what im doing. I think getting into an STNA program would help prepare me for the basics of nursing. I know it woulnt be the most glamorus job but its a start. The only problem is that im having trouble finding a place that offers these classes. Im looking for something that i can finish by the end of summer before classes start for fall semester on Aug. 28th. Im located close to cleveland and willing to drive to get the classes out of the way. Any ideas where would be the best place to look at? Thanks a lot PBJ ~
HI.. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE?? WOULD IT BE EASIER TO GO FOR LPN FIRST BEFORE JUMPING INTO RN PROGRAM?? IM NERVOUS ABOUT ALL THE MATH AND CHEMISTRY CLASSES FOR RN THEY SEEM TO BE REALLY HARD. SO NOW IM WONDERING IF I SHOULD EASE INTO THIS SLOWER..??
HI, IM NEW TO THIS SITE AND WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCES IN LPN-LVN-RN'S? AS FAR AS SCHOOLING , PAY RATE, AND BASICALLY WILL IT BE ALOT EASIER TO GO FOR LPN OR LVN? IVE BEEN READING ALL THESE THREADS AND THEY HAVE BEEN SOO HELPFUL! IM SO EXCITED TO HAVE FOUND THIS SITE! I FEEL LIJKE WE ALL WILL HAVE A BUILT-IN STUDY GROUP WHICH MAKES ME ALITTLE LESS NERVOUS!
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP! wannabaRN
Welcome! I am the Moderator of the new CNA - Nursing Assistant Forum. I am also an RN who works in various health care settings. I have experience in Long Term Care, Home Health, and Hospital settings. I have been a Nurse since 1998 starting out as an ADN; I received my BSN in 2001.
I wish I had been a CNA prior to Nursing School; I know it would have helped tremendously. The jitters I encountered make me blush now. I remember not wanting to look at a wound for a new patient because I was "uncomfortable" lifting the covers and envading someones privacy! It is safe to say, "those days are over "!
Please take a moment to introduce yourself. If you have time, grab your cup and tell us about yourself. Feel free to PM me if there are any concerns that are of a personal nature. Oherwise, post your conversations and questions here so we can all learn.
