Any Good Lpn Programs In Dayton Area?

I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAD ANY GOOD SUGGESTIONS ON LPN SCHOOLS IN THE DAYTON AREA. IVE PRETTY MUCH TO GO THE LPN ROUTE INSTEAD OF RN FOR NOW, I JUST NEED TO KNOW SOME GOOD SCHOOLS?? DO YOU HAVE TO GO TO A TECHINCAL SCHOOL FOR LPN OR IS THERE REGULAR COLLEGES LIKE SINCLAIR, KCMA, WRIGHT STATE, THAT OFFER LPN PROGRAMS?? ANY ADVICE/SUGGESTIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED! THANKS SOOO MUCH!

I don't know about Dayton but Great Oaks has a couple of campus' in Cincinnati and one in Wilmington. I just graduated from the Wilmintgon campus and was very pleased with the program. Sinclair doesn't have a PN program but they have a bridge program from LPN to RN which is what I'm doing now.

I know there are other programs out there but I'm not familiar with them. Just make sure when you look into them that the credits will transfer into an RN program in case you end up doing that...

The link to Great Oaks is www.greatoaks.com in case you want to check into them. Their full time program is 11 months and they have a part time program. I think tuition is 8,888 now which includes things like NA training, books, uniforms, NCLEX and licensure fees.

Come to think of it, a PN program is now being offered in Lebanon at the Warren Co. Career Center Adult Ed.

Miami Valley CTC has an adult education program with ties to Kettering College of Medical Arts. I believe they are located out at the VA medical center. There is also RETS in Centerville. Miami Jacobs is another. Almost all of the joint vocational schools in this area offer an LPN program. I am not sure about actual "colleges" like Sinclair or WSU, however. Maybe Clark State over in Springfield, but I am not for sure about that.
