About happy.persimmon

happy.persimmon has 9 years experience as a BSN, RN and specializes in Acute Care, Diabetes, Project Management.

I'm a California based nurse. Experience in Mental Health, Medical/Surgical, Acute Rehab, Diabetes, and Leadership/Project Management. I am always looking for ways to grow as a nurse and help my teams grow. I was part of the logistics of my hospital receiving Magnet designation and was part of the team that opened a two tower hospital. I don't pretend to know everything, but I do have an experienced perspective to bring to the table.

I love my family, plant based cooking, home remedies, art, and my God. Here's to being friends and breaking the pattern of nurses eating their young ?

  6. Greetings! Thank you so much for your comments, I appreciate them and the time you took to write them. I think we nurses are blessed by a forum where we can express ourselves and be supportive; allowing ourselves to be vulnerable and explore together...
  7. Greetings!... help :) Ok, so I graduated nursing about a year and half ago, and did psych nursing for a year which was great! However, teaching was always a passion of mine, so I entered grad school (yea son!!!) and decided that I needed acute care e...
