   No regrets. It has been a step away from all the physical labor expected of an RN. There are many settings which offer a good life/work balance. Don't be afraid to move around and try different areas/settings to find a good fit.

   JellyDonut, None of the interviews have offered jobs. They all want 3-5 years of experience. I may need to just focus on what I can get instead of centering on urgent care. Thanks for your input.

    I used the Fitzgerald Review and passed ANCC first try. I looked at the blueprint for ANCC and AANP and found that what my program covered best matched the ANCC blueprint. Best of luck to you.

    I agree totally. The schools have found a cash cow and are pumping out students. The demand for new grad NP's is just not there and the market is flooded.

    In my area (Southeast Tennessee) the going rate is $45.00 per hour. The Per Diem rate is a bit more.
