I am being offered 1099 contract work and will be paid a per patient rate. What is the going rate? I am in Georgia just outside of Atlanta.

To figure out how much you will need per encounter take your desired hourly rate and divide it by the number of patients you can see in an hour. Also consider the 1099 implications into the rate you quote them. This can be an excellent way to be compensated if you are efficient. I've done this kind of work for years and love it.
I'm in the primary care arena near Canton, Georgia. How much should I ask for per patient? I don't want to be too high or too low but don't want to get ripped off. Thanks for your input.

@NewbieFNP Did you end up taking that job? If so, how did you go about it?
