Hey everyone! I am making this thread for people who are interested in applying for the nurse residency program at Mayo in Arizona! I haven't seen anyone make one yet for the so if you're interested in applying, this thread is for you! Hopefully we can keep each other updated on the process ?

I don't see the listing posted yet in the Mayo job site and it is after 6:20am... any ideas when it opens today (June 5)?

I am applying this week as soon as my letters of rec's are finished. Does anyone know if Mayo has a minimum GPA requirement to apply?

no minimum anything. Just a combo of GPA, volunteer service, leadership, communication skills, experience, etc. Put everything you've ever done that has relevance on there.

I noticed they didn't ask for unit prefererences this time. In other rotations, they asked you to prioritize a list of possible departments. The one in Minnesota even asks for it this week. Maybe because it changed from 30 slots to 90 open positions they don't do that until interviews now?
