Anyone on here applying for the fall 2010 full time program at Quincy College? I'm handing in my application next week. Keeping my fingers crossed. Just wondering if anyone knows how many they accept vs how many applicantions they receive.

Thanks. =)

I'm in RN program now and we started in 2009 with roughly 90 students... not sure how many applied though. Best of luck!!!

how were your allied health exam scores?

I got a 116 in reading comprehension, a 118 in sentence skills and a 106 in arithmatic. Just passed in my application last night, now just waiting to hear.

your scores are great, i think you'll be fine. i passed mine in yesterday too, my scores were 110, 118, 117... so i'm pretty damn worried!

I think your scores are probably fine. I hope it doesn't take to long to find out if you get in or not. Either way I'd like to know sooner rather than later. I hate the waiting!

i am going to be doing the lpn program there starting in september

I would think twice - or maybe three or four times before going to Quincy for ANYTHING!!!!! I went there and only had headaches- ie. teachers not showing up for class, leaving early, no availability for questions, etc. etc. I ended up leaving and going to school elsewhere. I graduated and was MUCH HAPPIER!!!! Quincy's price was almost DOUBLE of the new school I went to. Quincy is a high priced school and you get VERY VERY little for your money. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Think twice about wasting your time!

that's not good to hear! i agree that quincy is pricey! where did you end up going?

I think you will be fine. I am at Quincy and think its a good program!! I heard lots of horror stories before I started but so far so good. Knock on wood. Good luck !!

i think quincy is fine. i am already in contact with the director of the lpn program asking her questions and she has said if i want she is more then willing to meet with me in person to discuss everything. i havent even started yet. not till sept so i am not to worried.

what school would u recommend for LPN courses ?
