U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me who the nurse manager is of the CICU is at Boston Children's Hospital, I am really interested in the posted job they have for an RN, but I haven't heard anything after applying.

I would love his or her email address just to express my strong interest in the position, if you should know it you can PM me.

What are your opinions on emailing a nurse manager after applying, is this going to come off as creepy?

Happy... (I need a shorter screen name)

Specializes in ED, Pedi Vasc access, Paramedic serving 6 towns.

Any word NeopediRN?

I thought about applying as well, just have not decided yet! Let me know! I am also waiting to hear about a NICU position in another hospital...crossing my fingers and toes!

Network as much as you can. Talk to people. You never know if that new friend knows someone down the pipeline. That is the only way I have gotten my jobs. Best of Luck.

It will help you when you finish. Do not expect them to even glance at your application until you have completed the program. All their job listings clearly state (bolded, in some listings) that a BSN is REQUIRED.

Yes you have reiterated that in another post, I don't need you to tell me again. You may want to check your information and go to their website and look at the open CICU position, no where on it does it have BSN required!!! Research before you answer instead of assuming! Just an FYI I have already had two previous interviews at Children's Hospital Boston and that was WITHOUT a BSN, so you are wrong, they will look at your application!
