I sent in my application for the fall at Montgomery College today. The deadline is March 1st. Does anyone know about how long I can expect to wait before I get an answer?
Thx,
Nikki
Congrats Marissa!! So glad to hear more good news! :)
I am sooo excited to start, I almost wish the summer would fly by...almost lol.
I'm going to hand deliver my confirmation this afternoon or tomorrow morning. Has anyone made a doctor's appt. yet? I'm wondering if I should bring anything because I've only seen this particular doctor once before and I've never gotten any vaccines or anything there. Maybe I should contact my old pediatrician? I still have his # lol; although I'm not sure if they keep records that far back. I honestly don't remember the dates of any of my immunizations so I wonder how they'll get that information...
That's kind of what I was wondering Andrea...all the different doctors seen over the course of my lifetime, no one has my complete health history. So I wonder exactly what they need and why they need it. I haven't called yet. I forgot. I just received two books I ordered to keep my mind off all the time that has to pass by this summer. Withough being in class I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do with my time while the kids are asleep/at school/etc. And it is just too hot to go outside.
I'm going to get my physical done with my primary since I'm due for one anyway and it's covered 100% by my insurance. Unfortunately, they don't carry flu vaccines now that the season is over so I'll probably get that and the titers done at UMD Health Center since I called and got their prices and they're pretty reasonable, compared to what the lab that my primary uses would charge.
Nikki, I totally agree! I HATE sitting around feeling like there's something I should be doing but can't because I don't have all the information! Even when I tried to make the appt. at UMD Health Center, the lady asked me which titers I would need. I guessed I would need MMR, chickenpox, and DTAP but wasn't positive because we haven't gotten the forms yet! So annoying!!! Lol
There is one thing we can do in the meantime...review all our A&P material! :)
