Montgomery College, how long?

I sent in my application for the fall at Montgomery College today. The deadline is March 1st. Does anyone know about how long I can expect to wait before I get an answer?

I was thinking about that..should get that started. Where will you be going for vacc/titers?

I went to the PreCheck website and briefly browsed around. I didn't see anything to start the process. I guess I will just wait until I get details at orientation. Same thing for titers. I'm sure they will have a list of suggested vendors to go to and exactly what to get.

I just registered for my CPR class too! I'm taking it literally 2 minutes away from my house though, in Silver Spring. Here's the link for anyone in the Silver Spring area:

This class is an American Heart Association BLS certification for healthcare providers. It costs $80 (they give $5 off if you're an MC student) and it's on June 11 at 8:30am. They've already e-mailed me all the course readings so I'm gonna get a head start since you have to get an 84% on the written exam to pass!

I don't see it anywhere in the letter, but just to confirm: we don't need to take a First Aid class, correct?

It was recommended to me by a MC nursing student to start vacc/titers ASAP. She told me about UMD's health center. She had all her health requirements done there.

Just changed my CPR class from June 11 to June 25, so that I can see what information they give at the Orientation ;)

I feel like I want to do more! I can't wait til we get these forms on the 21st so I can get moving on this hefty To-Do List!
