Sooo I would like to know how much harder is RN school compared to LPN school? I have been an LPN for ten years now and am currently enrolled in Excelsior college. It will most likely take me about 2 years to finish, but that's OK, I have been taking claSSES FOR 6 YEARS NOW!!

hi i am doing research about south university online degree in nursing (associate) can someone tell me if they had any experience with the school, please me detailed. thank you. for those who never heard about them, south university claim to give associate degree in nursing through south ... university, and clinicals could be done at local healthcare facilities. thank you nurses!

How long did it take you to complete your LPN program? Was the NCLEX for LPNs really hard? I'm trying to decide if I should go LPN-RN to RN-BSN or if I should get my ADN-RN then go for the RN-BSN? Which route is faster? Which route will allow me to gain more work experience? I have a good ten year plan, but the first 5 years depend on how I become an RN and get my BSN. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

I am in my final semester of a 3 semester LPN to RN program and last semester was HARD for me...the amount of material plus 2 clinical days a wk was almost overwhelming!

All I could find on South University was RN-BSN or MSN, nothing on the ADN. Is there a link where you found the online ADN? Just make sure it's accepted in your home state.

As you can see you mught have alot of people asking you for more information about what school are you attending in Tampa Bay area.LPN for over 15 years and with age over 50 I had to wait for the family to get settle. Now I want to further my education but feel that I would never make it in the community college setting. All the info will be greatly appreciated. Thank U

I found the Transitional Nursing class well.........really boring, but some of the older nurses coming back for their RN who had been out of school for a while really enjoyed it! I had just grad. from the PN program a year before starting the transitions course so 6 hrs of class to tell me something I had just learned bored me! LOL, but now that I am in 4th semester with critical care and high risk peds/ob I have my hands full! I love learning new things so I am enjoying it a lot. I don't think it is harder I just think that where we re-enter we are re-entering in one of the hardest semesters.....in an RN program! Good LUCK!

hi,

im currently taking my prerequisites for the nursing program at community college, however the waiting list is any where from 1 to 2 years and some of the science classes are almost impossible to get they are always full. i feel that it's taking such a long time just to get in the rn program. i checked out a school called west cost university it's a private school no waiting list just a entrance exam but its very expensive around 70,000 of course you pull out loans but it's a lot to pay back. i thought of taking an lvn program for now and later going back for my rn. i checked out concord got their lvn program it's just a year long. can anyone please give me some advice about doing the lvn first and if anyone knows if concord is good or of any other good lvn programs. thank you very much!
