Who Starts LPN School in September?

:)Hello all! I'm very excited to see all that have starting nursing school and the ones who will soon start. I will start September 2nd. :yeah:I'm counting down the days 9 more to go. My family/friends are cheering me on and the last thing I want to do is disappointment them. I wish all of you the best of luck and don't forget to tell us about your first day in the thread "First Day LPN Fall 2008". Please share your experience with us. I start Sept 2nd-EXCITED BUT VERY SCARED. Career change for me a much needed one but bittersweet the same (I loved my job and coworkers but the pay was terrible)

hey everyone!

I am starting lpn school on september 8 and today and tommorow were the orientation! YIKES!! even though i was a nursing assisant, i felt like i was going to barf! I have quit my full time job at the cleveland clinic, i have two kids and no income. Don't ask me how i am going to do it i think that might shove me over the edge! I am very exicted about my adventure and i wish everyone lots of success! I am glad that i am not alone in this!!!

Hello Everyone! Well we got lucky tonight and got out early. So once everyone arrived we still had to wait around. Not sure why but anyway class started about 600pm We review the school policy's and went over the hand book. We then got fed a box lunch w/a drink. (didn't expect that) I thought that was nice.:up:Anyway, we went around the room and everyone introduced themselves. Not too much to brag about but it's only the first day. We already have a 1-2 page paper due Oct. 1st.:typing We get one of our test books tomorrow and we will hit the books on Monday. That's all for now. We are on our way now. NAPPYNVA which one were you? I was hoping you were trying to find me, too. I hope to meet you face to face tomorrow. I'm the tall one with twists in her hair. I sat up front on the left 2nd desk. See ya tomorrow night!
