I start Sept 2nd-EXCITED BUT VERY SCARED. Career change for me a much needed one but bittersweet the same (I loved my job and coworkers but the pay was terrible) Want to hear how everyones first day went!!!! Thanks for your post!!!

Can anyone tell me their experience during the schooling of going thru LPN school. I am hearing horror stories on 7-8 hrs of studing per night and the work load being extreme...... I was thrown into the midst of being a single mom and need to pursue my desire to go into the nursing profession (i currently have been in the vet field and it certainly does not pay well) I start LPN school Tuesday and now i am having a fear of the unknown, especially if the study load is that intense with trying to raise two teenagers single handed. any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, the wide range of salary is quite confusing? Any information is helpful....

If anyone can give me words of encouragement....i need them now!!! I am starting LPN school Sept 2nd at Willow Street CTC and I am scared to death. Been out of school 25+ years always a stay at home mom now just thrown into being a single mom and i am scared to death but driven to make this work. Thanks for any advice!!!
