  1. I went a spring break not knowing if I passed or not. I showed up that following monday and the director tried to hand me a report card that said I failed, after they sent me one in the mail that said I passed. either way I can't understand how they could make this kind of mistake. The students have had other issuses
  2. Please help me! I am not sure what to do. I received a passing grade on my report card that they sent me in the mail and now the school is saying I did not pass pharmacology. I have tried to talk to the school about it and they just keep telling me it was a clerical error and that I did not pass the course. How could they make that kind of mistake? How do I go from F to a C with a two point difference? I have contacted the campus director and she was no help. The third term students are only in their second week so I have not missed anything. Should I contact the Ohio Board of Nursing? I hope someone can help me. thanks
  3. I am in my second term of the lpn program. For the first term that was our focus was bedside care. Ok fine for the first 15 weeks but now that our second semester is almost over I am ready to drop out. I am not saying that it's beneath me to change people and make beds but I thought by now I would be focusing more on Pharmacology, wounds and trac care. i am so bitter about the whole thing right now! We have to be at the facility at 7am till 4:30 and that is basically all we do all day. Clean people and make beds. My clinical instructor is a very nice lady but there is 8 of us and when she is doing meds she does two students at a time. We only get to pass meds twice in 15 weeks!!!! I have gone to the nurses at the facility to kinda of hover over them to learn just about anything, the teacher said we should be comimg to her and not them. Somebody give me advice I have tried to suck it up and deal with it, but I don't want to get out of nursing school not knowing HOW to be a nurse.

I am a current lpn student at Rets in Ravenna (bohecker college) I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this school. They are very expensive and was promised all kinds of assistances and never got it. Also, there is all kinds of stipulations that they don't tell you upfront. The credits don't transfer to another program so basically I am stuck till graduation. I will not be attending the sister school for my RN (NIT in cuyahoga falls) I hope this helps!!!
  5. hey everyone! I am starting lpn school on september 8 and today and tommorow were the orientation! YIKES!! even though i was a nursing assisant, i felt like i was going to barf! I have quit my full time job at the cleveland clinic, i have two kids and no income. Don't ask me how i am going to do it i think that might shove me over the edge! I am very exicted about my adventure and i wish everyone lots of success! I am glad that i am not alone in this!!! good luck to everyone and reply to this thread and we can keep everyone from drowning!!!
