How many will go on to get their RN?

This has probably been asked a LOT, but I thought I would just ask it anyway - how many of you will go on to get your RN and how soon??

I plan to start right after I get my LPN and do the RN course work a little at a time.

After graduating with my lvn and taking the state test I plan on working for 2 years while finishing my prerequisites before bridging. I'm looking into bridging from lvn to bsn.

I will be go for RN part-time once I've completed LPN and while I'm working. If for no other reason, I would the credentials to move around the nursing community. At least in Michigan, my practice options as an LPN are somewhat limited. In my class of 30, all but one are planning to continue to RN.

I'm starting my LPN program in April and there is a bridge to RN right after. I want to start working as an LPN and go on getting my RN. It's going to take a minute but eventually I will get to my goal. Can't wait to start my program.

I want to, but I get depressed thinking about it. Lol my current program is Monday thru Friday 7-1:45. So far in my immediate area there are no part time or night programs for RN. I can't see myself AGAIN sitting in a classroom from the morning to afternoon like a full time job. *sigh* I graduate in December. So I have time to think about this some more later.

I definitely will. The school where I'll be going to get my ADN requires 6 months experience as an LVN before you bridge (volunteer or working.) So I will most likely work and get the rest of my pre reqs done. I'll eventually go on to get my BSN, and join the ANG. But I need to be working now, so I have to take it one step at a time.

My initial plan was to do Rn but taking the lpn route to make it easier I have all of my prereqs to go into a BSN program so I am definitely going back for it. The day that I pass my boards, I am signing up for an online lpn to rn program.

That's the.same thing I wad thinking about doing too..I graduate from my lpn program in October.and they also have a full.time bridge program (its going to be new for their school starting in October so we will be the first class going into it) but I wanted to.work also and.know.I can't do both so.I wad thinking online it still takes the same.amount.of.time (1 yr) if I was goin to do.it in a classroom also :) good luck!

I worked as an LVN for 2 years before starting a bridge program. It's all online so I have been able to keep working while in the program. I'll be done in June and will finish my Pre-reqs and hopefully be in a BSN program by December of this year. I just keep telling myself I will, one day, be done with school :)

I most definitely will be pursuing my Rn after I complete the lpn program...I live in the St.louis area and was wondering which online site would be good for a bridge?????
