Online LPN programs?

Are they workable/practical? Is there any disadvantage to them? Best program in your opinion?

Online LPN programs do not exist due to hands-on clinical practicum requirements that all state boards of nursing have. In essence, you will need to arrive to a clinical site weekly to learn the hands-on procedural skills that no textbook can teach you.

There are, however, hybrid LPN programs that combine online classes with the in-person hands-on clinical practicum. You will still need to show up to complete these clinical shifts, which is why no LPN program can be totally online.

It would be scary to think of an online lvn program.. I think you can go from lvn to rn online..

and JacobBrewer, the graduates aren't "scary" nurses. They must pass the same national registration exam as those who attended the bricks and mortar building.

LVN/LPN to RN also require in person clinical experiences.
