NCLEX-PN Testing (kinda long, sorry)

ON top of being sick since SAT, and not being able to reschedule my NCLEX, then having to go at 8am in the morning, after being up all nite, having a migraine, and about falling asleep at the computer, saying "I wish this thing would just cut off".

I have been so torn up for the last few days, I have been reading these nclex postings over and over. I knew when I walked out of the testing center on September 4, 2007 that I just flushed everything I had done for the last year in PN program down the drain, I knew it would hurt everyone around me and I would be letting them down. So, when I got home--took it in VA but I live in NC---, I called everyone I cared about and told them that I know I had let them down, and that I had failed the NCLEX and would not be becoming a nurse, and would have to retake it in 45 days. I was awful to everyone around me, I have not been able to eat, sleep, bathe or anything.

You see, that test was so hard, and I ended up having the max of 205 questions, after passing the ATI comprehensive predictor with 98% estimate on passing NCLEX on 1st attempt. I received no less than a 92 on every NURSING TEST, I ever took in class. I was class president, and have a 4.0 gpa. But this test was the hardest thing I think I have ever done, and I just knew that I have failed it, after all my hard work. Everyday since the 4th, which is only 2 days, but I have been on pearson vue, saying I know I failed in, loggin in and then going to the ncbon, and saying I know I failed it.

This morning was the worst day of my life, because I knew when I cut this dang computer on, and went to pearson vue and my quick results were there, I was gonna have a nervous breakdown. I did everything I was supposed to do, and closed my eyes. Tears ran down my face so much and I was a nervous wreck. I hit the button and Bing it popped up. Today my results are in.

I PASSED THE NCLEX WITH 205 QUESTIONS!!!!

So, :balloons::roll:smiley_aa:yeah::thankya:, I am now a LPN. I did it.

So, to those of you who have to take the NCLEX and get all the way to the max questions, don't worry and put yourself through the same thing I put myself through. I have several friends who took the RN and went to the max and they are now working.

So don't think just because it cuts off early or if you go to the max, YOU ARE GONNA FAIL, cause I am living proof.

God Bless and Have a GREAT DAY!!!!! I will NOW:lol2:

To tell you the truth the only thing I used was the ATI testing at www.atitesting.com and the Comprehensive Review of Practical Nursing for the NCLEX-PN by Mosby. And I printed out common lab values from the web and learnt them. There will be them on the test, I am sure.

That is all I used. Hope this helps

I am feeling alot better now, especially since Wed. I look on quick results site and found I PASSED!!!, then today I looked on NCBON and there I was....

Though, it did bite being sick trying to take that thing, feeling miserable, then leaving and thinking "I just bombed that".
