I can understand your dilemma about math, because I suck at it as well. My school taught the dimensional analysis system for figuring out medication dosages. While it takes a bit longer, it made sense to me, because I didn't have to figure out Fried's Rule or Clark's rule in pediatric dosaging. I managed an A out of the class and also, recently, I had to take an on line test to apply for an agency, and all of the teachings came back to my head almost immediately. Good luck to you. The most important thing is to keep practicing over and over.

Dimensional analysis worked very well for me too. I was never a fan of math and got just average grades in high school but I got an A in dosage calcs in college because I understood how this system worked. I was lucky enough for my instructor to teach us this so guess I don't really have suggestions for books, sorry....my opinion is just to learn dimensional analysis someway- it's so helpful!
