Doesn't really matter what state you take it in. It's the same exam regardless. All the best to you!

Depends where you want to work.

Maybe you can call CFGNS and find out,, or maybe search their website

I tested in Az, and found out the results in 22 hours. I took the test on a Tuesday, and had my license in hand on Friday. So it is pretty quick, but I don't know about all the other stuff (CGFNS ).

depends on where you wanna work..CA usually takes about 4-6 months. If you're lucky, your application will be processed in just 3 months. You have to inquire about your status. I applied for Vermont (they do not require the local boards)..my application was processed in just 2 months..and il be taking the NCLEX on january.. good luck to you! and God Bless!

You are applying for licensure, you are not applying to take the NCLEX exam, that is only step in the licensing process, and far from being the only one.

The question more important for you, is where are you planning to work? That should be guiding you and nothing else.............just because a state is faster in approving you to take that exam, it still requires that you endorse to another state where you will be working, and that can actually take you much longer.

And since this question pertains to foreign nurses and has nothing to do with the actual exam, it is being moved to the International Forum where it is more appropriate.

You are actually waiting for your eligibility and not ATT. No ATT will arrive until you apply in Pearson Vue.

thanks for your answer. Maybe I misunderstood but I read that eligibility is the ATT or it's enother certificat?

Technically, the eligibility letter is diff. from the ATT.

The eligibility letter (snail mail or e-mail) will be coming directly from the State BON or BRN giving you permission to sit for the NCLEX and to register to Pearson-Vue. You're actual ATT will only be given to you by Pearson-Vue if you have registered already to them. Once you register, it's just usually a matter of minutes when they will e-mail you that ATT and another 7-10 days for the snail-mail version to reach you.

thanks for reply, I have enother question, mayde some of you could help me here.
I am foreigh trained RN as you understood, and I am waiting for a month for the eligibility letter from BRN of CA. I am living out side of US, and I am trying to make a plan about my jurney to US in the end of April till middle of May. I intened to do my exam (NCLEX) during the trip. In your opinion and from your experience about the system in Ca do you think is it real thing to do?
