Just wanted to share with you all....

Some of you knew NurseWeasel was coming "Down Under" for a visit. Well, the Weasel's been & did indeed make a stopover here in my hometown!

Spent a wonderful day showing Weasel the sights & showing some good old Aussie hospitality.

It was an honour to be able to 'meet & greet' a fellow Allnurses member & in the process, gain a new friend.

I'm thinking I could start a new career as the official Allnurses tour guide for Oz!! LOL

Just goes to show how this fabulous BB is bringing people together & fostering friendships which might otherwise, never happen. Thanks Brian & all those associated with the running of Allnurses!

Anyway, I won't steal Weasel's 'thunder', I'll leave it up to the Weasel to share any more info re the "Down Under" visit! ;)

I did, indeed, and I just want the whole AllNurses world to know that Grace OZ is a fabulous tour guide, friend, and ambassador for Australia. I had a fantastic time in your country; met many wonderful people (and one hilarious drunken aussie bloke); saw so many amazing sights, locations, and animals that it will take me months to document it all in a scrapbook; and had absolutely lovely experiences throughout. The weather was PERFECT. I highly recommend Australia for vacation. My paranoia about security and flight risks, etc. was totally unfounded - everything went off without a hitch. You were right, Australia is probably the safest country in the world. The people are definitely the friendliest *I* have ever met, and exceedingly tolerant of tourists, too. Everyone was so helpful and kind and friendly. Wow. That's about all I can say, and it sums it all up rather nicely. WOW. Thank you Grace OZ, and Rachel, and everyone. I had the time of my life.

NurseWeasel, good to hear you have a wonderful time in Australia, one of the best places on earth (or I think so).

will you be posting your pictures on a web site for all to see?
