Australia Day Food
What did you eat on Australia Day - we had lamb - but as a stir fry with rice and it was lovely a spicy - not too hot for a change - l have been accused recently of being a bit heavy handed with the spices - (just cause we are drinking 5 glasses of water when l made that curry last week l don't know why he is thinking that)
So tell me and everyone else what did you eat to celebrate Australia day - PS don't you love those new vegemite ads.

Had a Tesco Full English Breakfast, then a horrendously expensive steak sanger at the Walkabout (£3.50, nearly $10!)
Then, after drinking all day and night, the obligatory doner kebab.
Does Midori count as a fruit serve?

Just readin these thougts makes me think
God l love the diversity and variety in our country that we are so lucky to be able to enjoy - we can have so many different cultural type food within one week - that is either througheating out or cooking at home
We are so lucky (even in this drought) to have such wondeerrful fresh food
1 would think l made agood meal tonight for tea - it was real just fish and homemade chips
But last night we had chicken ina pasta sauce with spinach and ricottta cheese type parcels
God a love the food we have here
OK off the subject sorry
