I PASSED!!!! Canadian RN exam CRNE

  1. 0 Hello Dr [Toronto School of Health.com],

I took your CRNE prep course starting in Aug and you had mentioned that nobody tells you how they did. I wanted to let you know that I PASSED!!!! The course was amamzing!!! So many of the questions we discussed in class showed up on the exam. I especially remember the question about the chest tube. If it becomes disconnected to place it in a container of water. That was on the exam. Also, I had asked a question in class about when a pregnant woman can not have sex and that question was also on the exam. Most importantly, I learned how to address each question after I took your course. Once I was able to identify what the question was trying to ask me I was able to determine how to answer the question. The practice questions were also very helpful!!! Some of them I remember being on the actual exam.

Once again, I wanted to thank you. I studied hard, but your course helped me learn HOW to study for the CRNE and, I PASSED!!!

    Thank you again.
    R.

There are many threads discussing CRNE and how to prepare for it. Why don't you want to start with the CRNE prep book?

My tips for CNRE, CNA prep guide is very good, but studying from this prep guide is not enough,

I studied the CNA prep guide and I also took a prep course at Toronto School of Health.
If you prefer studying on your own, then start early !!!!!! since CNA questions are very hard which means that there always seems to be 2 correct answers. However, there is only one correct answer, which means you might be so close to the correct answer but you just weren't lucky enough to pick it. One of my friends did not pass on her 1st attempt.
So start early, don't wait until last min.
    Good luck on your exam

You must have missed the part where hkaur said she lives in the Yukon... it's a LONG way from Whitehorse to Toronto. It's also unlikely that there are review classes in Whitehorse due to its size and the tiny number of people who would need them. hkaur is on her own. She's also likely going to require some form of SEC.

hkaur, read the following for more information:
Internationally Educated Nurses - VERY IMPORTANT - READ THIS FIRST
FAQ - The Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE)
FAQ - Substantially Equivalent Competence (SEC) Assessments
