How Long for CGNFS to perform CES

CGNFS rec'd paperwork about 3 weeks ago.

How long does it usually take them to do the CES?

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Depends but approx 4 months. Mine took about 9 months and numerous phone calls.

Who did they receive the paperwork from? The application or the transcripts from the school? Or the verification of licensure? All three need to be received before they can do anything, and average wait is usually about 4 months as they still need to verify the information that is sent to them.

CGNFS Rec'd paperwork on:

April 27th CGNFS rec'd application.

April 28th ID Card sent via Ground to my address in USA

May 12th : CGNFS rec'd transcripts from her school. They waived secondary school diploma.

I had my address in USA to send all info. to my address since it will only take a few day via USPS (United States Postal Service).

Fiance has no license in PI, due to just graduating in March 2008.

Who did they receive the paperwork from?

Paper Work was sent directly from her college to CGNFS, I paid extra to her school to have it sent express to CGNFS.

I did read that in the instruction that it had to be sent directly from her school to CGNFS.

Suspect that she will be here before the CES is completed. They still need to review all of the information and it is never immediate.

Even if the person attended nursing school in the US, it is at least a month in that case, but out of the country, and you are looking at four months on average.

Her Visa Interview date is June 17th at US Embassy in Manila

I sent in initial paperwork in early March, so this has visa process has moved quicker than i thought.

I just want to make sure that CGNFS doesn't need anything else from here school before she leaves for USA. It will be easier for her to address her school in person rather than on phone.

They only need the one set of transcripts to be sent in to them from the school.

She is actually going to have months before she can begin work, it is not going to be something that is done right away. You have to get married first and then the additional documents submitted to immigration and she will have to go thru more interviews here as well before she will even get her SSN#. And she will not get her EAD until she has completed the other requirements to be able to work here. She will not have any documents with her when she arrives to be able to work here.

I have no plans for her working any time soon. It would be 6 to 9 months before she would even consider looking for employment, after her arrival in USA.

I just want her to sit for the NCLEX as soon as possible, because I have read it is best to take it soon after graduation as possible. I also will have her contact you and get your NCLEX study guide when the time comes.

I am considering her going to school some more in USA, and furthering her education in the medical field.

Even then depending on the type of further education you are thinking of, they will require RN and pass in NCLEX before they will allow her to get on the course.

Yes, I assumed that a RN/Pass NCLEX would be needed for her education path.

I have discovered this interesting option:

Do you or Suzanne know if this is a real degree?

Thanks in Advance

I would like to ask you if I have to apply for visa screen certificate or first to take NCLEX and how to registrate for the exam because I want to work in illinois state and to give a license for work

thank you
