:balloons:I just found out yesterday that I was successful in getting a particular job that I really, really wanted for next year! They "haven't finished the recruitment process" yet, so I have to keep it a bit hush-hush around the other new grads who may have applied. I couldn't keep sitting on it though, and where better to come to share than here? I'm going to be an ICU nurse!
It's crazy - I've almost been a nurse for a year. Time has flown!:balloons:

Congratulations and I wish you all the very best. I LOVED ICU. Make sure you look after yourself ok? :)
Thanks everyone! I'm so excited. Gwenith, I will be doing a transition program, it's for second-year RNs. I have 2 months in a small ICU that specialises in toxicology, 2 months in HDU and the other 8 months in a larger ICU that gets traumas and kids and all sorts of delightful stuff. I did prac there as a third year and LOVED it, the only placement I have ever totally LOVED like that.
I'm also excited that it doesn't start till March, and my grad year program finishes at the end of January, so I get a month off! Woo! I need it after this year.
