CES application questions

Well I have finally started my application for my CES report. I have registered online and am just in the process of completing all the details.

I take it i fill in the details as requested, pay my money then send all my copies of documentation to them by standard mail.

Do I then send the request for information forms to the NMC and my school of nursing and get them to complete them and send the transcripts etc. direct to cgfns?

I p[resume i need to send my documents by some sort of secured post, anyone from the Uk have any idea of the costs of this? Is there only DHL/fedex that do this kind of thing or do the post office do secured airmail too?

How long have i got to complete all the details on the application site and pay my money?

Thanks

Do not send anything by regular airmail. You will not have any way to follow the documents and applicaiton, send them all by courier service where they can be tracked.

And it is your responsibility to have the records sent to CGFNS, they do not obtain them for you.

You print off the requests for proof of licensure & education then send them to the NMC (fee schedule on their website) & to your university respectively(you will have to find out what the uni will charge, it's usually around the £30 mark). They have to send to CGFNS direct but make sure you ask the uni to send you a copy as well.

The NMC will inform you when they have sent your details - it took them about 2 weeks to send mine for the VisaScreen.

The details you submit on the CGFNS site will stay as they are until you pay then you will be able to track the progress of your application on-line plus they will email you when they receive forms etc. The application will remain open until it is complete. I know VisaScreen is valid for 5 years once issued but the application process has to be completed within a year. Not sure about CES but that insfo should be somewhere on the site.

I am educated until college in the Philippines.

I dont know how will i fill up the schools attended portion of the application form.
It says primary, intermediate and secondary. Is it the same as elementary, high school and college respectively?

Only the forms for the colleges need to be completed by the actual schools. We have many more threads here that are more current, please just use those for the information that you need. Please look at the application again, there is no place for the high school to complete anything, it only asks for the name of the high school and if you graduated from there as well as a copy of the diploma if less than ten years ago.

This thread is almost two years old in a few weeks.
