I am going to be working as a Nuse Extern this summer, and we have to wear white scrubs I am not looking forward to that part.... but anyway, for those of you that wear white scrubs as part of your daily uniform, what are the thickest, most not see-through scrubs out there??? All the ones I have seen are so see through, you can hold them up folded and still see the person on the other side!!

Try http://www.jascouniforms.com . They used to have white on their site that was labeled "non see-thru"

Life uniform also has white scrubs that are high quality and non-see-through! I'm not sure of the website (might be http://www.lifeuniform.com) but try a search.

OMG! We have a guy in our class who doesn't wear undierwear under his white pants. It's EWWWWWWW.....especially for the poor patient who gets a good look at eye level!

Please don't. We had a young lady in clinicals who was the THONG QUEEN. Had thongs of all different colors, designs, and perhaps fabrics. How do I know? Because we saw them EVERY Monday and Tuesday!:chuckle People mentioned it to her, including the instructors and at least one floor nurse (:imbar ) and her reply each time was "Oh really? I am so embarrassed!" She told one instructor that all she had was thongs and as a student she could not afford to buy all new underwear just for clinicals.
Anyway, if you must wear thongs...please leave the black and polka dotted ones for days you are not externing!:rotfl:
