I am going to be working as a Nuse Extern this summer, and we have to wear white scrubs :o I am not looking forward to that part.... but anyway, for those of you that wear white scrubs as part of your daily uniform, what are the thickest, most not see-through scrubs out there??? All the ones I have seen are so see through, you can hold them up folded and still see the person on the other side!!

OMG! We have a guy in our class who doesn't wear undierwear under his white pants. It's EWWWWWWW.....especially for the poor patient who gets a good look at eye level!

YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! I feel so so sorry for those patients!!!

When I had to wear whites, I didn't like to wear thick ones b/c I find them uncomfy. I would wear white bike shorts under thin ones instead. I was comfy and no one got any cheap thrills off me.

That's a great idea.

In addition to the flesh colored undies I would also suggest buying scrubs that are a bit on the loose fitting side of things. It helps put of cushion of air between the scrubs and you so that things are not quite so defined! I would also recommend you wear flesh colored undies while trying on your scrubs. It gives you a really good idea of which scrubs are too revealing  and which scrubs are better at covering.

Good luck.

I always wear support hose or white tights with my white pants. I would wear a white men's undershirt with my top also. Yes I would get hot when I was showering patients but you couldn't see my chonies...
