What are you doing on X-mas break?

OK guys, after this debit card fiasco (see just conversation debit card stolen for details) I'm ready for some GOOD news!! What's your plan for Christmas break? Vacation? Travel? Sleeping in? Long bubble baths sans textbooks? Time with family (are you my husband?)? Tell me all about it!

Ahhhhhh......Xmas break!!! The thought of it is the only thing keeping me going right now!! I am gonna sleep for at least a week THEN I am gonna read a good book, cook some actual food that can't be made in the microwave or picked up in the drive-thru, and spend some time with my new hubby snuggled up drinking margarita's!!! I can't wait!!!

Being ridiculously lazy!!!! Couch potatoeing it, channel surfing, sleeping late, staying up late, having pizzas delivered, drinking cheap wine...:) :p

Whenever I see this thread come up, I try to think back to the last time I HAD a Christmas Break!! I think it was freshmen year in Nursing School---IN 1965!!! Yep! After the first year, we had to work holidays, too!

And, doing hospital nursing, the holiday weeks are blacked out, so no matter how much senority you've got, you CAN'T take vacation over the Holidays!!

This year, I'm working Christmas Day, New Year's eve and New Year's Day. At least the potlucks are great!

Christmas Break??? I'm working so I can afford next semester (those out of state fees are from the devil!) um, I'm planning on buying the microbiology book and getting a head start, but if it actually happens, I'll be amazed.

oh, but i will eat bunch of cookies, lots of artichoke spinache dip and drink lots of spiced tea.

Hmm.. Christmas Break... Well it will be pretty much the end of my free life as I know it.... Didn't take any classes this fall, so I got to work and and save a "lil" money to help the hubby.... Hence the word "lil"...

But I plan on going and buying my books and looking over the first objective, because we were told we have our first test 3wks into school over half a book.... YIPPEE!!!!

I will also be going to my parents and in-laws for Christmas in Mississippi, so I have a nice 8hr drive that I could use to do some reading with... But we will see how much of this actually happens...

i hate the holidays! my in-laws are crazy and live less than 5 miles from me! as soon as i graduate, my husband and i are moving out of this place!

i hope everyone else's xmas break is a lot better than mine!
