I am looking into getting a rolling duffle bag( or similar book bag) and was wondering if if you all had any good recommendations on what type/brand/style of bag to get?
I seen the size of those med-surg books and I certainly don't want to be carry those in my shoulder bag!

I had a backpack last semester. Quite a few students used one of those carry on suitcases with the wheels. That's what I'm going to get for next semester!

I don't carry my books to class... at all. I bring my current notes with me and that is about it. I'd only bring books to class if they came on my palm pilot.

I don't bring my books to class either. No need. I just bring my binder in my backback.

I only bring my textbook if I know my instructor is going to ramble on and on about some random subject...so I just read and highlight the chapter myself in class:rotfl: Most of our lectures are on power point and follow the book directly, so there isn't really a need to bring it to class.
Most students in my class use the luggage-bookbag - I guess what you are talking about...the one on wheels. They love it...just as long as there is an elevator in the building...cuz they are even heavier to lug up the stairs.

Another who almost NEVER brings any books to class. I think I did it twice for my skills checkoff in order to reread about the procedure before going in there.

I was going to buy a rolling pack at the beginning of the semester, but I'm glad I didn't! We do not need to bring our books and I haven't needed them at all. I have Davis' Drug guide on my PDA and find that useful.

Rarely bring books - and even if I do, its just one or two and I carry them in my shoulder backpack. The only times I bring the books is if the instructor specifically requests, or if its a prof that I know follows the book pretty much (highlighting is much easier than writing frantically!)

I don't take any text book/s to lectures, only the PPT lecture notes and a pen. I usually take them to tutorials, in a backpack.

All I take to class is a binder with all of my classes current PPT notes and Syllabi in it.

I use a rolling backpack (cheap one from Marshalls, I think I spent $20) but I do not bring all of my books to class. I only bring what I need for that particular day.

I use a rolling backpack, bought it at Walmart. Some classmates bought a suitcase, problem with that is it's soooooo heavy when loaded down. I find that I can keep what I feel I need in my backpack, but I do keep an extra smaller bag in my car. We can usually park fairly close and as long as I have time between classes, I will go to my car and switch books if needed. I simply cannot lift a heavy suitcase into my pickup truck. Don't always take my books to class, but always have them in my car at least.
