I think I'm going to die of exhaustion.
I said this in an earlier post, but I would like to reiterate...if you are thinking of working full time while taking Micro in six weeks, please don't do it.
I got sick last week an unavoidably missed one day, now I am so far behind that I don't think I'll get my B now.
Please cross your fingers for me! THis is my last class before I can apply and I have to have a B!
Thanks!

Keep your chin up and remember.....even IF you get a 'C' it's still passing. I'm sure you'll be able to pull off your 'B' though! :)
Fingers are crossed...stay optimistic!

future army nurse like all the others said, hang in there!!:)
i'm on my 3rd week of microbiology and parasitology class...the thing that works for me is reading ahead, usually professors give out a syllabus, that should help you. it works for me well...maybe for your last classes just read ahead of time, that way it's easier to understand and memorize what you need.

I take my hat off to you! I am doing it the spoonfed method, but doing the 16 week course. Had to juggle my schedule a lot but well worth it for me. I am interested in micro, and dont' want to miss any of it. Congrats to being so close to the start line for your nursing program.

I was so scared of micro when i had to take it. I waited until the last semester of pre-reqs to take it. I heard horrible things about the instructor, but found she just wanted people to pay attention and didnt mess around with people chatting through her lectures(for good reason). Found i loved it, especially the DNA/RNA part. Hang in there, and dont be afraid to go to the instructor and see if they have some office time to help you get through what you missed, youd be surprised how receptive they are to a student that truly wants to learn enough to come to them outside of classtime. Good luck.

You're goin' into the home stretch. Don't throw away half the term you've completed.
You can do it!

Good luck! I took an intensive micro at night, and I work FT during the day (plus have 2 little kids) so I can certainly relate to your feeling of hanging by a thread! :)
