    Seems like ages ago, but one of the best we videos we watched in Soc was a PBS? documentary on the murder of Emitt Till, and the Fed's reopened the case last year, which makes it currently relavent.

    "Animal Farm" is a great one. Huge sociological statement.

    Another great one for sociology is The Star-bellied Sneetch movie based on the Dr. Suess book.

    plus you get to see a very young Matt Dillion, Tom Cruise, Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Ralph Macchio, and Patrick freakin' Swayze. <phew> That movie takes me back to 8th grade when me and my friends thought we "discovered" it. :chuckle
