Personalized License plates.

What do you think about people getting license plates that say "BSN" or RN or BSN RN when they don't hold that degree yet or

License ?

I'm not sure but isn't that illegal?

I agree! A girl in my school did this & she hasn't grad. Nor have her RN. I think it's pompous... Lol. Watch them like not grad or pass NCLEX lol

I recently saw the following license plate:

GR8 RN

It was cute; I wondered if this person actually ordered it for him/herself, or if perhaps a spouse or parent did. Seems a little cocky, but what the hey, maybe they can walk the walk.

I think personalized license plates are stupid most of the time. I think that putting too much of your identity in your career is a recipe for burnout, personally. I'm going to nursing school, but a nurse will not be the only thing I am.

Is it illegal, no. Its not like someone is going to use your license plate to identify you as a nurse. But do agree that its a bit tacky, if not cocky.

I want to get a custom plate but it would say something like "ETOH" or AAOx1 somethin silly.

But yeah what happens when u get an MSN ytime for a new plate? Lol lol lol

I don't even tell my neighbors that I'm a nurse - for certain I don't want to broadcast this info to the general public. Not ashamed, but there are too many weirdos out there & I value my privacy. My car tag is "TARDIS".
